Integrations
Connect GNETiX to your messaging platforms
GNETiX connects to the messaging platforms your teams already use. Users interact with the AI Director through natural conversation -- no new tools to learn, no context switching.
All integrations use shared bot credentials that are configured globally in System Settings > Integrations. Individual organizations inherit the global configuration, or org admins can override credentials for their own org if needed.
Every integration uses outbound connections only. No inbound firewall rules, public URLs, or webhook endpoints are required for chat platforms.
Supported Platforms
Cisco Webex
Full-featured integration with text, images, PDFs, file attachments, and threaded conversations in group spaces. WebSocket-based -- no webhook URL needed.
Slack
Socket Mode integration supporting text messaging in DMs and channels. No public URL required.
Microsoft Teams
Bot Framework integration supporting text messaging in personal and team chats.
Webhooks
Receive structured events from external systems (monitoring, CI/CD, ticketing) and route them through the Director for AI-powered processing.
Voice
Outbound voice calls powered by LiveKit, ElevenLabs, and SIP trunking. Users say "call me" in chat and receive a phone call with full conversation context.
Per-User Platform Toggles
Administrators can enable or disable specific platforms on a per-user basis. For example, a user can be enabled for Webex and Slack but disabled for Teams. This is configured in the user management UI under each user's profile.
How Messages Flow
Regardless of the source platform, every message follows the same path:
- The platform connector receives the message and identifies the sender
- The sender is matched to a GNETiX user by their platform-specific identity (email, Slack user ID, Teams user ID)
- The message is handed to the Director for processing
- The Director's response is sent back through the originating platform
